F A Q

1. Why coaching?

Are you stuck?
Do you want to achieve better business outcomes?
Do you want something new or different?
Do you want to achieve something special or be better at what you are already doing?
Is something or someone stopping you?

If the answer to any of these questions is yes then, should you choose, coaching will help.

2. What is coaching?

“Coaching is unlocking a person’s potential to maximise their own performance” (reference: Coaching for Performance: Sir John Whitmore).

It is the opposite of telling someone what to do. It assumes that we have the answers which may be covered up by layers of life experience, beliefs and whatever else life has put in the way. Coaching is creating the space to find the answers that help us get from A to B quicker and more effectively than we would on our own.

Workplace coaching is a flexible technique for improving performance at an individual, team or organisation level.

Life coaching uses the same techniques but focuses on overcoming personal issues and desired outcomes.

NLP brings additional skills linked to applied psychology. It can help to overcome fears and phobias, and change unhelpful beliefs or behaviours. It isn't magic but it feels like it sometimes!

3. How do I get coaching?

You need to find a coach you can work with and who has the right skills to meet your needs. So the first session with me is free. We spend about 15-20 minutes discussing your coaching needs and building rapport. If we both believe I have the right skills for you we then agree a coaching plan. If not, you are free to find another coach. You may have spent a long time deliberating already so don't delay any longer. To book a first free session contact me..

Coaching sessions last for up to one hour. Ideally we meet face to face but Skype is also excellent.

4. What is the difference between Executive coaching and other coaching?

Executive coaching focuses on achieving business outcomes.

5. What if?

Imagine achieving what you want to, or being the person you want to be. What if you pick up the phone now?
